It’s not collusion if everyone comes to the same conclusion independently. Shedeur figuratively bought every red flag at the red flag store, and when they ran out, started making his own. My gut feeling is each owner saw the Sanders reality show for the circus that it is and decided it wasn’t worth the trouble, at least for the first few rounds. After that, a herd mentality probably set in and nobody wanted to be the owner who caught a falling knife until Cleveland decided to roll the dice in the fifth round.

Shedeur's privilege is over now. He has one season to not only beat out Gabriel, but also Flacco who is going to go into the season as the starter. If he doesn't prove he's the guy he'll likely be cut before next season when they use their stash of picks to move up and pick a top QB next year. He better be in Cleveland working his ass off and doing all the right things starting today or he's going to be looking for a new job in a year.
