Considering what WE are losing on our line, I'm surely hopeful that teams can bounce back and be as good with young pups.MONTbigBuck;2288407; said:Just to clarify Nutria, I was just taking a shot at the media more than anything. LSU has been top notch on D for at least a decade. I have no doubt that they will reload. At the same time, any D that looses arguably its 3 biggest talents-playmakers in Minter, Montgomery, and Mingo could struggle to get back to the same level in one year. If you are looking at making a national championship run as a fan I think it would seem to be easier if those guys all came back. I just thought it sounded stupid when watching the Clemson game, and the announcer said he had seen a few practices, and even if Mingo and Monty went pro they would be just as good. I don't know anything about the young pass-rushers you have coming up. As a guy that hopes you are capable enough to stem the evil Bama empire each year, I hope you do reload.

this one surprises me a bit.
he was a preseason All American (and high on mock drafts pre season), but was lost for the year in the 1st qtr of the opener.
Kinda surprised that he still grade high enough to leave early after missing basically an entire season.
brings our total of underclassmen leaving to 10 (11 if you still count Mathieu).
looks like I'll be drinking heavily next year.

Alabama's national championship run came at a cost, as three juniors opted to forgo their final seasons to enter the upcoming NFL draft.
Cornerback Dee Milliner, running back Eddie Lacy and right tackle D.J. Fluker made official their decisions to turn pro during a joint news conference on campus Friday.
