Jay wavered from being an ok coach to being not up to snuff. Hard to follow a legend....even harder to be his kid. Jay has completely proven that whatever coaching dna might have skipped his generation, the moral, man of honor dna was fully passed on.

In the most difficult moments of his life--under circumstances that he couldn't possibly have forseen--Jay Paterno stepped forward into the limelight and gave us all the courage to go forward.

JFC...why didn't they just rent out Amtrak and haul his embalmed carcass all over the freaking country until the start of next football season? They could have finished up back in Happy Valley by dragging it into the stadium and propping it up on the sidelines for opening day.

Joe Paterno: still dead. But for the love of God they're not about to let him be forgotten.
