Imagine the untainted legacy that could now be dominating the morning news cycle had he tendered his retirement / resignation immediately after McQueary's revelations - also turning in Sandusky at the same time.

Tragic end really by comparison.

Thank you Oh for your post. I'd rep you if my stupid iPhone would let me rep Anyone. As an educator, I thank God everyday that I've never ha a mandatory reporter incidence. Not for the moral justifications, but due to the child. I was honestly expecting to come on this morning and probably getting banned for starting something with all the haters. Thank you for your logical, respectful response. For as Ezekiel says:
"For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies," declares the Lord GOD. "Therefore, repent and live."

What's hard to comprehend? A guy who gets arrested for child molestation while under your watch isn't good for business. Pretending that you didn't know, is.

I'm an old school eye for an eye tooth for a tooth guy. I think rapists, murderers, molesters, etc...will eventually get what they deserve, a nice seat in hell.

Joe will get his if he hasn't asked for forgiveness. Sandusky should be shot by firing squad.

In my eyes 60yrs of work was wiped away with one horrible non action. May his family fin peace but joe pa being here or not affects me personally not at all. I've never she'd a tear for someone I don't know. Why would I start now?

Never forget the kids that suffered because or inaction and poor decisions.
