This is why you never turn down talented, experienced players coming back. Way too many fans on other sites were worried about him taking reps away from younger guys. Ridiculous to think about even if he hadn't improved much. Not everyone will be a stat-sheet stuffer and you need guys locked in against the run and ready to rotate in.

Everyone wants the next generational talent on the DL, but it's just as important to have depth and guys doing the dirty work or ready to pop off when others get attention. We saw that especially at the end of 2019.

Fans are stupid (except for those here of course, ahem). There are even some whispers about Sawyer because of those lack of stats this season but his job has been to contain his side of the field and cave in the Offense which I've seen him do time and time again only to spring a team mate for a great play behind him. Harrison was abysmal last year vs Oregon and others allowing the play to get outside him and break contain but I cannot really remember a single time that has happened to him this year. That alone is an amazing improvement. Adding in the fact that he's really pressing the Offense with his charge, we're looking at a whole new player practically. Once a Buckeye, always a Buckeye so never give up as long as they don't give up on the brotherhood.
