DE Zach Harrison (All B1G, Atlanta Falcons)

Three things can be true at once.
And I have a feeling that is going to be the case here. I think the light was coming on last season, but still had a ways to go to meet the athletic potential. Great kid and work ethic is there, just struck me as a late bloomer. Hell, Hubbard was sort of the same story and is absolutely killing it for the Bengals right now, it happens. I think the Falcons got one of the best steals of the draft here...

This dude is killing it in Falcons camp. He is an absolute menace in the backfield and the new defensive staff are salivating at all he can do on the field.

So, they weren’t expecting someone to block their OL into the guy wearing the red jersey?

Glad to hear that he’s doing well. He’s always been an easy one to root for. You’ll enjoy his stay, especially if he continues to perform like that.

Do you know what line that was against? 1s? 2s?

Harrison is week’s highest-graded defender

Sunday wasn’t a good day as a whole for the Atlanta Falcons, who suffered a 38-6 loss to the Denver Broncos, but former Ohio State defensive lineman Zach Harrison had a strong showing in their defeat.

Harrison, who plays primarily as a defensive tackle for the Falcons after playing defensive end at Ohio State, received the highest Pro Football Focus grade (93.2) of any NFL defender in Week 11. He recorded two tackles in 12 snaps, including a 5-yard tackle for loss to blow up a running play.

Unfortunately for Harrison, his day ended early when he was ruled out of the game with a knee injury, though it remains unclear whether the injury will force him to miss more time going forward.
