Actually the article may not have been written before. I guess Solomon's dad is really stressing that he think about his future first and football second which is why VMI is on the list.

I still think we are in good shape with him though...

VA Tech is the only one of the two mentiioned in this thread, so i would assume he means VPI.

It's hard to see a Lakota player choose coach Moobs over coach T. I couldn't blame him for going to play some Beamer-ball, though, if he thought it really was a better fit.

Hope Solomon (scarlet and Grey) makes the right (scarlet and grey) choice for himself (scarlet and grey) and isn't influenced (scarlet and grey) by the wrong (scarlet and grey) things!

VMI is I-AA in football, being allowed 63 scholarships (usually divided among 85 players)
I would guess that some recruits are offered full rides and others are offered partial. ST certainly would be worth a full schollie.
They just built a new practice field with sport turf and are building anew or renovating their stadium.
Not a very strong program, however. 3-8 last year with a blowout loss to Duke.
I'm sure they make a strong, motivated man out of you, though.

Dave Berk is connected to the guys at BN and I find it hard to believe that he would do an interview and not even ask about the OSU offer if this was in fact done after it was extended.
