Nick Bosa's preseason All-American honors continue to roll in.

Just hours after the Buckeye defensive end was named to ESPN's preseason All-American squad, Bosa earned the same honor from the Associated Press. Bosa was also named to the CBS Sportsand Sports Illustrated preseason All-American teams.

Bosa had 8.5 sacks and 16 tackles for a loss in somewhat limited action last season, as he was splitting time with three other players now in the NFL. But with their departure, Bosa will likely see increased reps this season and is already tabbed by many as the future No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 draft.

No other Buckeye made the first or second team. The only other Ohio State player to receive any sort of All-American recognition this preseason was cornerback Damon Arnette, who was named a second-team All-American by Sports Illustrated.

Just saw Dane Brugler is now contributing for The Athletic, and he's published his first Top 32 for the 2019 NFL Draft. Currently has Bosa over Oliver, and perhaps most interesting, has Dre'Mont at #20.

1. Nick Bosa, DE, Ohio State (Junior, 6-4, 265, 4.67)
A near carbon copy of his Pro Bowl brother, Bosa brings burst, power and the patented family handwork that ties blockers in knots. Barring an unfortunate injury, Bosa receives my vote as the early favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

NICK BOSA CONTINUES TIRADE AGAINST OPPOSING QUARTERBACKS IN OHIO STATE'S SEASON-OPENING WIN

Oregon State knew that putting a stop to Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa’s reign of terror would be no easy task. The Beavers had an entire offseason to prepare for the 6-foot-4, 263-pound junior and still couldn’t stop the preseason All-American pass rusher.

In the first half alone of Saturday’s season-opening 77-31 win over the Beavers, Bosa recorded four tackles, two sacks and recovered two fumbles — one of which came in the end zone with 1:13 left in the second quarter, giving the Buckeyes a 28-point lead at the break.

It was the first touchdown of his collegiate career.

“Nick's funny," sophomore defensive end Chase Young said of his teammate with a smile. "You've got a great player in Nick. It's always a race to the quarterback. (Bosa's touchdown) was real exciting. We're real fortunate he was there to score."

Bosa was far from being the only Buckeye to wreak havoc in the Beavers’ backfield. Junior defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones had three tackles and two sacks, and sophomore linebacker Pete Werner added five tackles, a sack and a forced fumble — which led to Bosa’s touchdown.
