247 $ - Nick Bosa makes another visit change, Bruce and Grimes news too

Will take his Official Visit to OSU in January, so he can have more one-on-one time with the staff. Will also be visiting for the Penn State game, along with teammate Sam Bruce & possibly Trevon Grimes.

Idk which part I'm happy the most about: Bosa visiting at the end of the season to be able to have more time with the coaches, Grimes possibly visiting again, OR getting Bruce on campus for a visit! Watching the dumpster fire that Miami will eventually become can't be fun for Bruce. Knowing that your own fan base despises the coach you're committed to cant be fun...

Dang....get better Nick

Nick Bosa, Ohio State's top-ranked recruit and the brother of Buckeye All-American junior Joey Bosa, has suffered a right knee injury and will miss the remainder of his senior season of high school. The news was first reported by Patrick Maks of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

According to the Sun Sentinel, doctors are still evaluating whether or not the injury will require surgery for Bosa, a five-star defensive end out of Fort Lauderdale's St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

Athletic director George Smith said Bosa should be "good as new" though and make a full recovery. Bosa's parents, John and Cheryl, told Eleven Warriors Monday night they planned to visit Birmingham, Alabama, surgeon Dr. James Andrews Tuesday morning.

PHOTO: OHIO STATE 2016 COMMIT NICK BOSA IS 'FEELING GOOD' AFTER KNEE SURGERY

Nick Bosa won't play another down at St. Thomas Aquinas this season after suffering a partially torn ACL, but the five-star 2016 Ohio State defensive end commit is remaining positive after undergoing surgery Tuesday.

The stud younger brother of current Buckeyes All-American defensive end Joey Bosa is expected to make a full recovery, but a timetable for his availability moving forward is unknown. He was expected to play significant minutes as a freshman at Ohio State at either defensive end or tackle, but that is now on hold as he rehabs.

Bosa will stay in Pensacola until next Monday so that he can begin his post-surgery rehab.

JOEY BOSA SPEAKS ON HIS BROTHER NICK'S RECENT INJURY, SAYS 'I THINK I'M MORE UPSET THAN HE IS'

Nick Bosa’s phone hasn’t stopped buzzing over the last two days. His older brother, Joey, won’t let him be.

“I’ve been talking to him pretty much all day the last two days,” Joey Bosa said Wednesday. “I won’t leave him alone because I think I’m more upset than he is.”

The older Bosa — the All-American defensive end at Ohio State — won’t leave the younger one — the five-star prospect and the Buckeyes’ top commit in their 2016 recruiting class — alone because he wants to make sure he’s feeling OK after surgery. Nick recently suffered a partially torn ACL in his right knee and thus his high school career is over.

Nick underwent surgery Tuesday and posted a photo on his Twitter account. Joey said Wednesday his brother is doing fine.

“It sucks, but he’ll be good,” Joey said after Ohio State’s practice Wednesday. “I know he’s going to recover faster than most people because, I guess, he’s a Bosa, that’s the only way to say it.”

Joey said Wednesday his younger brother is an even better high school player than he was.

“I loved that I had the opportunity to be there for him,” Joey said, “but it’s upsetting that his high school career is already over.”

Nick is expected to make a full recovery. He’ll still be an important part to Ohio State’s 2016 recruiting class come February.

“He’s gonna get there. It’s a long process, but he’s doing good right now,” Joey Bosa said of his brother. “As much as I know, he’s been dealing with it fine.”

ELEVEN DUBCAST: FORMER NFL DEFENSIVE LINEMAN JOHN BOSA TALKS ABOUT HIS TWO BUCKEYE SONS

64463_h.jpg,qitok=o2kQNqer.pagespeed.ce.PD3Lg8_HM8.jpg

It's our honor to be joined by former Miami Dolphins defensive lineman John Bosa, who you probably know better as "Joey and Nick's dad." John had some great insight on how his two sons ended up as Buckeyes, why public perception has Nick ahead of Joey at the same age, what he thinks of Joey's shrug move, and more. It was a fascinating interview and you should definitely give it a listen.

NICK BOSA COULD BE BEST EVER FROM TALENT-RICH ST. THOMAS AQUINAS

At the start of the NFL season, there were 17 players on league rosters who made it there from Fort Lauderdale's St. Thomas Aquinas High School. That's a lot. There are a number of soon-to-be NFL players still in college, including Ohio State defensive lineman Joey Bosa.

To say that Nick Bosa could be the greatest student-athlete to ever emerge from the Raiders football program is kind of crazy, but it's not exactly hyperbole, either.

From CBSMiami.com:

“I think he’ll go down as one of the all-time player type guys and student-athlete that we’ve had here,” said St. Thomas athletic director George Smith.

Smith has been at St. Thomas for almost 40 years, so that praise for Bosa, recovering from a knee surgery, doesn't come without plenty of information to back it up. Of course, to be a success on the field, Nick has had to remain focused off of it, and he has.

“He’s a 4.0 student. So he meets expectations with in the class room. In the weight room he has an extraordinary work ethic,” said St. Thomas football coach Roger Harriot. “It’s not a Jekyll and Hyde or a Clark Kent and Superman. He goes about his business by doing what is expected of him on a daily basis.”

You can watch the entire video with Bosa below.

Free Rivals - First and 10: Early impact

Provided Bosa's injured knee allows him to compete from day one, he should be able to challenge for early playing time in Columbus. The massive defensive lineman certainly has the size and agility to play in the Big Ten as a true freshman. The fact that he'll have a successful older brother preparing him for what to expect at Ohio State won't hurt his chances either. If Bosa is healthy, there's no reason to think he won't make a quick splash.
