He played as much as he always does but he draws double teams often these days. I watch for him every time he comes in and my dad myself and my son all watch him closely. He has some pressures but again, doubles are tough to beat but it is freeing up other guys just like big bro did.

Yeah there was one play early on.....I think it was their FG drive......where he just plowed through 2 defenders and forced the QB to throw it earlier than he wanted to. He so clearly disrupts the offensive line on almost all the snaps that he's in on. He may not make the play, but he either set up the play that was made or he was just a second away from making a play.....and it's like that a LOT.

Maybe BAMF could be an official statistic: Number of plays in which player is double teamed (lineman, RB, TE or any combination thereof) which allows a teammate to gain a sufficient enough of an advantage to record a TFL, Sack or QB hurry leading to an incomplete pass.

Nick Bosa not looking for comparisons, but no one is going to listen.

Every 5-star prospect arrives at college with expectations, but very few of them also arrive with the familial expectations of an All-American and all-time great.

Such is life, however, for Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa, the younger brother of former Buckeye and reigning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Joey Bosa.

Expectations for Nick have essentially become an addendum to his name. He is "Nick Bosa, the younger brother of Joey Bosa." You know how lawyers use "Esquire" at the end of their name? This is Nick's Esquire and it carries with it a certain weight (usually around 275 pounds) and significance.

With the burden of those expectations, Nick still had a fantastic freshman season last year, picking up 29 tackles, 7.0 tackles for loss, and 5.0 sacks rotating in off of the bench. His promise was seen each and every week.

The memories of Joey Bosa at Ohio State casts a heavy shadow, but Nick sees what his brother has done as lighting a path for him to now follow.

"On the field I’m trying to emulate what he does, honestly," Nick said recently. "We do a lot of things similar."
