Melvin details the recruiting battle between Illinois and tOSU. He will attend both spring games and likely some basketball games.

This doesn't make any sense...Coaches aren't allowed to talk to the juniors, so why seek him out...It isn't like there isn't going to be plenty of contact between the two when they are allowed...

Melvin loved his visit to Columbus but says he is still committed to Illinois and will remain open to other schools.

Love this guy! Really like the humility he harbors. Think I read that he said he wasn't sure if he was even going to get an offer from the Bucks. What??

Melvin says he talks to the Illinois coaches almost daily but he is also very interested in Ohio State. He wants to visit Illinois to compare the academics to Ohio State and again says he is in no hurry.

Say he is still committed to Illinois and still high on OSU and is not sure where he will end up but it will likely be one of the two. Plans to check out Virginia and Michigan State as well.
