Ohio State's Jonathan Newsome talks about Ohio's Big 33 win
by Doug Lesmerises, The Plain Dealer
Monday June 22, 2009

Welcome to a new complementary part of our Ohio State coverage here at Cleveland.com. I know we've been offering sports videos in other parts of our coverage, like on the Browns and Cavs, and now I'll be providing some video coverage from Columbus as well.

I'm working on my camera skills.

Here's the first of my quick interviews after Saturday's Big 33 Classic in Hershey, Pa., won by Ohio 38-31 over Pennsylvania. I'll say I thought Glenville linebacker/defensive end Jonathan Newsome was as impressive as any of the seven future Buckeyes in the game.

Here he talks about Ohio's win, playing with his future OSU teammates and the plan he had to get from Hershey on Saturday night to Columbus by noon Sunday.

And enjoy that Cleveland-Columbus connection - those are the 614 and 216 area codes written under his eyes.
