The true freshman defensive lineman flashed early for Ohio State and looked like a player who is going to have a role on the defensive line this season. Wilder generated a couple of pressures and was even rushing from the interior on some passing downs. It was a great day for him as the Buckeyes look for someone to be the No. 2 pass rusher opposite Kenyatta Jackson. Perhaps Wilder could be that guy.

Loved how he used one arm, much like Reggie White, and threw a 300 lb Offensive lineman in the air and onto the ground without skipping a beat.

Re: While Ryan Day said Tuesday that the injuries Daniels and Grady suffered against Texas aren’t “long-term injuries,” he said Wednesday that the starting right tackle and defensive end are unlikely to play against Kent State.

Jut sayin': I haven't seen any indication that Wilder is hurt; however, Grady is nursing a knee injury and is unlikely to play in the Kent State game. DE snap counts so far:
