DE Keith Wells (Columbus State; transfer to Ohio Dominican)

great interview on rivals. Very Wells-poken. Sorry, I know that was cheesy. I couldn't help myself. I'm just glad he's coming here. Sounds like Tress was the selling point again. Who said Tress can't close the deal? I think we'll be talking about the development of wells in one of those "follow-ups on the class of 2008" a few years down the road. Great pickup.

I'm a casual recruiting fan, at best. I assume that Pryor and Jenkins are two of the three left, but who is the third? Harris?

Oh yeah, and welcome to the Buckeyes, Keith!

...or Orhian Johnson

Keith has skyrocketed to one of my FAVORITES in this class since his commitment. Congrats on finding the right fit, bud, and I look forward to seeing you in Scarlet and Grey on Saturdays at the 'Shoe!!

Thanks Elephant for your constant update. You have much more influence to him than you think...the hat, saying The Ohio State University, and of course the humility.

Why do you love the Buckeyes so much? Did you go to school here? Sorry if the questions has been asked already. I lived in Brunswick (training) for about nine months...awesome place!

Thanks, Keith! We are proud to have great young men like yourself representing us...especially when you stand on the podium accepting those National Champion trophies!

I had nothing to do with Keith's character..His mom is the reason why! Keith is a smart kid and the sky is the limit for him. There are so many areas he needs to improve on but I think he is willing to work for it. He knows he has to step up his game. Really a proud day here at Gainesville. Iv always wanted to see a kid committ to the Buckeyes from here. I can not say enough about this young man!

In case I haven't done so already (doesn't look like it), good pickup, and congrats. ND did their best, but too little too late IMO. Your staff did a good job of cementing a relationship with Keith, as it withstood a really good visit in South Bend. Hope he does well for you guys, and knocks a few Wolverines around in the process.

This kid is already a "fan" favorite. There are a heckuva lot of great football programs between Keith and C-Bus yet he chose us. His interviews are priceless, and his potential is endless. Great to have him on Board, he's made a great decision that will likely last him a lifetime.

WELCOME to the Nation Keith, you are now FOREVER a Buckeye!

Georgia defensive lineman goes with Bucks

Two years ago, Keith Wells decided to move from the basketball court to the football field, and a late-blooming defensive end emerged. That led Ohio State to take notice.
Wells provided the Buckeyes with the 18th member of this season's recruiting class when the 6-foot-5, 235-pounder from Gainesville, Ga., announced Monday that he will sign a national letter of intent on Wednesday to attend OSU. His decision, Wells said, was based on the all-around qualities of the school.

"Tennessee has a great football program, but the academics aren't as strong," Wells said. "Notre Dame is great academically, but the football is not as strong. Ohio State has everything."
