Wells Makes Visit To See Buckeyes

 DE Keith Wells (6-5 220) of Gainesville, GA committed to Florida State in August but he is going to take the full allotment of official visits. He started this weekend by visiting Ohio State. "It went good," he said. "It was a really nice school. It was bigger than what I expected it to be. The facilities and the coaches were top notch. I'm still verbally committed to Florida State but I'll take four or all five of my visits. After I take all of my visits, then whichever school I feel more comfortable with I'll probably commit to the following week. I'm just making 100% sure Florida State is the school I want to be at. I'm just weighing my options and choosing from the best. If I don't feel like Florida State is the best school and the best place, then I don't want to be there." Clemson has kind of eased back in. Coach (Ron) West has been in to see me a couple of times at school and at home." Wells said he will visit Auburn this weekend, Florida State January 11th, Tennessee January 18th and Clemson January 25th. He's expecting coaches from Ohio State and Auburn to visit this week.

Can somebody elaborate the need for the "stretching of the dancing bananas"? I didn't really read anything that was indicative that he was going to switch his commitment. Now maybe I don't read between the lines as well as some of you, so pardon me. I would love to have him here, from all reports, he is a great prospect. But don't count the chickens before they hatch.

CrazyBuckfan40 is currently enrolled in a court appointed 12 step program addressing his violent outbreak towards a guy who winked at one of his bananas while it was stretching! I am privy to this insider info because I gave him my notes from having attended the class myself.

FSU just signed committment #23 in JUCO DE Markus White. I doubt that means much in our recruitment of Keith Wells, when FSU will sign close to 30 guys this class, but White did have 25 sacks last year and led his team to a title.
