DE Keith Wells (Columbus State; transfer to Ohio Dominican)

I think Georgia kids have seen snow before, and know that it snows in central Ohio. If he's serious in his considering coming to Ohio State, then the snow's a non-factor.

My first wife grew up in central/eastern Alabama.

She had seen snow exactly once prior to her adult life.

For someone not used to cold weather it can be quite a shock. When I moved back to Ohio the first time after being in the 'Corps I damn near died that first winter.

That was after growing up in Ohio with the blizzard of 78 as some of my favorite childhood memories and after being gone for only a handful years (of course those missing winters were spent in arctic Florida, California, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Okinawa).

That would qualify has "having seen snow before"...

Having seen a few flurries stick to the ground for a couple of hours once in your life doesn't prepare you for an honest to god snow storm that brings everything to a halt until it's cleared up.

Actually, "a few flurries stick[ing] to the ground for a couple of hours" does bring "everything to a halt" down in Georgia....

Now back to Keith.

It's going to be 65 on Sunday.

Gawd I love C-bus weather

Now back to Keith.

If Im not mistaken...when Wells commited, he was very outspoken about trying to get FSU back on the map by recruiting, etc. It sounds like the coaching instablity is really playing a factor.

Found it: Scout.com: ScoutTV: Wells Picks FSU
its the second video
