Provided Alabama and Texas were receive no more commits, our getting those five would put as at #1 on Scout and by a good margin. Getting Neal alone would easily put us at #2, and possibly #1, on Rivals.

We have some serious young studs at LBer. Shazier is the only one who is proven from last year. Im excited to see how Grant, Crowell, Williams, Perkins, Perry, Roberts and maybe Marcus pan out. Were going to have a great front 7 in the next few years.

But the 2 recruits Alabama is after happen to be the top DT in the nation and the top dual threat qb who is from bama. Imo, they would stay on top regardless of who we close with. The rankings of their players r pretty freaking high

Don't think Winston is choosing Bama and don't think they land Goldman either but can't be counted out.

We'll pass Texas as they are out of it for Edwards now and could get right there with Bama, Florida could pass everyone too.

Either way I think we're good for top 3 on rivals and scout which is great, just would like to get #1 on rivals for once.

All of these valid points being argued and Meyer has only been on the job for 2 months. Let that sync in for a second and then try and picture what that looks like over 12 months/6times that long!!! :!

We have a thread to discuss rankings so please take that discussion there. We don't want every thread being diverted into a discussion about where OSU is at in the team rankings or how OSU's class compares to Michigan's. Thanks!

They are only at 27 - lots of room.

Seriously though, of the uncommitted players in the top 100 more than a dozen still have Bama as a school of interest, including three of the top four rated recruits.
