Might have been mentioned earlier, but credit this one to Coach Johnson.

Playing for Johnson became a possibility for Slade when Johnson signed a contract to coach for Ohio State in January.

"When he moved and went to Ohio State, it changed something," Slade said. "It changed something in my heart. I knew for a
fact I wanted to at least check it out."

Seems like he's Meyer's type of player:


"He's one of the most feared coaches in the Big Ten, and even in college football," Slade said. "What I know about Urban Meyer,
is that he loves to win. A lot of people take that the wrong way. I have to say that's one thing that me and Coach Meyer have
together, we share that characteristic. We love winning."

I'm really excited about this. All personal issues aside (and I am seriously not going there), I love to see LJ Sr. come through to bring us a big time guy like Slade in the last hour. I really feel like Darius is going to be molded into a champion here. He has all the physical tools in the world, just needs the coaching. Love the last member of this class! Go Bucks!
