I wasn't sure, but from a google it appears he keeps his redshirt too, so that's good news.

Yep. Once the TCUN game is over Hicks can play the rest of the way without burning his RS.I wasn't sure, but from a google it appears he keeps his redshirt too, so that's good news.
It will be nice to have a fresh and healthy Hicks for the game in Indy and the playoff run.Yep. Once the TCUN game is over Hicks can play the rest of the way without burning his RS.
Makes me wonder why they played him vs Grambling and Ohio when we could’ve saved one of his games for TCUN.

He can play in the playoff without burning the redshirt. Thats the beauty of this playoff systemZion Hradu >>>>
Can’t convince me he wouldn’t at least be helpful in obvious passing downs to spell the guys. With Zion Grady and Atkinson being solid I think the playoff depth at edge looks a lot more promising (assuming we get there, I don’t take games for granted)
I think he can play in Indy, provided we make it, as well.He can play in the playoff without burning the redshirt. Thats the beauty of this playoff system
I wonder if we’ll see him moving forward now that his redshirt is secured.
Looks like he’s been officially activated and it won’t count against his RS.
This is really great depth for the team. He may not be Caden Curry or Kenyatta Jackson, but he doesn’t need to be that over the next month - just like Curry didn’t need to be Jack Sawyer last year. Hicks is an experienced player that has the physical abilities and intelligence to wreck an offense while the starters are getting a breather. Would also be a nice sub in terms of size and ability for Reese. This could tee him up for a great start in 2026.
