DE Brandon Graham (official thread)

LOL. Its a nickname I just came up with because his initals are BG. Its not his real nickname. The kid needs a kick ass nickname though because he is a beast.

If "Big Game" is not his "real" nickname, then it's off the thread title.

I have not seen too many measurable on Thad Gibson yet...anyone know how the two stack up? This kid's numbers are impressive...

And just for the record, I did not mean by my abrupt comment about BG being a Michigan lock that I didn't think a thread was warranted. I like following other big recruits, especially in the B10.

T Gibson

Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 205 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.5 seconds
Bench max: 300 pounds

B Graham
Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 235 pounds
40-yard dash: 4.43 seconds

And I'm not sure where anyone has found the tOSU interest, but Rivals does not list tOSU at all and says ND and scUM are his favorites.

Scout is down right now...but I do trust Rivals

If Im wrong...delete this section, but I think this is retaliation for the BN guys posting the recent verbals all over GBW.

I don't think we've made up for C. Woodson loss to tsun yet. JT will do it... I believe.
How about TGII who was better during his freshman year than Woodson... so good that he might not even be allowed to play D. I think Ginn grew up liking scUM (which is understandable considernig they always won) and emulating Woodson, but later realized he shoulds tay in state and became 100% buckeye and 100% anti-scUM.

Back to Graham, this kid is scary. Here's to hoping he ends up at ND, or someone at ND can convince him that the Michigan D.C. is a moron (which isn't a hard sell) and he goes to play for the goldies. Sure I'd love him to head here, but I see it as quite a longshot.

I was talking in terms of OHIO's talent choosing tsun and vice versa. TG is from Ohio and went to OSU. Woodson is from Ohio and went to tsun

Regarding Woodson

I don't think that's true at all. From what I've heard, Woodson was a Michigan guy the entire way. Fremont Ross is a pretty good school for Michigan ever since Rob Lytle in the 70's.

There are stories that Woodson was wearing a Michigan hat during his in home visit with John Cooper and that he was blue all the way. I don't know where he was recruited by each school but I do believe he came to Michigan as a RB and made the decision to switch to CB himself because he didn't want to wait behind Biakabatuka.

Also, regarding Brandon Graham. I think he could be swayed but I'm hoping otherwise. The kid hasn't even been to a Michigan game yet so if he goes to U-M and has a good time but than gets blown away by another visit, I could see him changing his mind. It's not very likely, but it could happen.

The kids says he "loves Michigan", lives in Detroit, is one of the top if not the top player in the state, and has never been to a Michigan game? My geography isn't that great, but isn't Ann Arbor just outside of Detroit?

Detroit to Ann Arbor

It's not just outside Detroit but it's not very far either. The fastest way is by taking I-96 East and that takes about 40-45 minutes depending on traffic.

I am surprised he hasn't been to Ann Arbor for any unofficial visits but that is what he says.
