DB Malcolm Jenkins (All B1G, All-American, Thorpe Award, All-Pro, 2x Super Bowl Champion)

The level that MJ has played at these last 3 games is absurd. The entire defense has fed off of his energy. Makes me think back to Doss and what his presence meant to the rest of the unit. Hands down the best DB in the country right now, and it's not even close.

Great post! Please refresh this on NLOI day if we happen to lose out on some "5*, Must Have" kid. Malcolm was basically an unknown, and James was simply a cool get because of his dad, was nowhere on anybody's radar. Now look at them, both are regarded as two of the greatest to ever play their positions here. And even more importantly, are two of the most respected players for giving up the riches of the NFL to come back and play for the University that they love.
No "Peace." ?

Watching these guys play with some passion yesterday was a real thrill. Jenkins shepherding the USS Gibson to the touchdown said a lot to me about the effort these guys are going to put in for the rest of the year.

Jenkins is just awesome. Nothing else to say. Awesome.

Can't say enough about Jenkins play. He definately makes those guys go. He looks fired up every play...even towards the end of the game he made an awesome tackle on special teams flying down the field in punt coverage. Love his energy! Keep it up MJ!

I just found this thread to say the exact same thing. We are truly blessed to have Malcolm back this year. I have never seen a game where Malcolm hasn't played fired up and with an attitude. That tackle on special teams got me so pumped up...we have a huge lead, the game is nearly over, and your senior and future first round pick is on punt coverage. So many guys who are the star(s) on their team would consider that a nice play off and lolly gag down the field, yet Malcolm can't get enough. He gives it his all and makes the stop almost immediately. If there is any motivational award or leadership example to be given, it should go to this guy. He never gives up and he is the type of player that makes you proud to be a Buckeye. You really can't say enough good things about MJ and that play alone might get me out for a #2 jersey.

Continued great play by MJ. He is one of the few players who has left all of it on the field each and every week. His aggression seems to be rubbing off and the Buckeye defense is rounding into shape at just the right time. He'll go down as another great db in the long line of great Buckeye dbs.

Great job MJ

Not saying that this is his motivation for playing like that... but make no mistake... that highlight will be seen by a lot of teams looking to show MJ the money.

While that tackle was impressive for nothing more than showing his never ending motor, I think that blocking after the FF was a thing of beauty. That play, moreso than the aforementioned tackle, goes to show how his head is always in the game. As a side note... it was great to see all the Bucks running behind MJ on that play. I'm pretty sure that NW's arms signaled TD exactly at the same time mine went in the air!

So at least 12 DB's are better than MJ:shake:

I dont see it!
I don't take anything associated with fox seriously, I mean after all, Kiper and McDoushay both have him in the top 10 draft picks/top 3-5 seniors, but hey, fox must know their heads from a whole in the ground... and Temptation Island was the best TV show ever.

Say no to Fox and yes that is the awesomeness of the OSU defensive MVP for the first half of the year.
