DB Malcolm Jenkins (All B1G, All-American, Thorpe Award, All-Pro, 2x Super Bowl Champion)

I agree Malcom is the best CB in the land. He does it all, he covers like a damn blanket, he'll come up and lay the wood on a RB, he's excellent on special teams, he's a student of the game-the whole package. I'm gonna miss this guy when he's gone.

It is worth remembering ..

when he was given the offer, there were some (few here - more U-No-WHERE) who went "who" and "OMG" and "wasted scholarship."

Look how wrong those clowns were.

Jenkins is one of the best CBs we have seen at OSU.

...and that says A LOT coming from the school that has produced names like winfield, springs, plummer, gamble, youboty, clements in the last 15ish years.

Not even an honorable mention. That's just crap. He's only had one subpar game, Minnesota, and it's not like they're something to sneeze at.

Vontae Davis wasn't even honorable mention either, and they are both going to be top 15 picks.

Not a single player from USC's defense made any of the three teams. THAT is crap if I have ever seen it.

Another terrific game today with 9 tackles, sack, FF.

He is a game changer and the best CB playing right now. If he keeps playing like this and doesn't win the Thorpe I will be very dissapointed. He continues his rise on my list of greatest Buckeye DBs ever.

Great post! Please refresh this on NLOI day if we happen to lose out on some "5*, Must Have" kid. Malcolm was basically an unknown, and James was simply a cool get because of his dad, was nowhere on anybody's radar. Now look at them, both are regarded as two of the greatest to ever play their positions here. And even more importantly, are two of the most respected players for giving up the riches of the NFL to come back and play for the University that they love.
