Most of Buckeye Nation was concentrating on the official visits of Vonn Bell, Corey Smith, Shelton Gibson, and Corn Elder, but one prospect's trip that flew under the radar this weekend was 2014 CB/WR Damon Webb of Detroit (MI) Cass Tech.
The 5-11/180 Webb made the trip down to Columbus for three days with his mother and father. After taking the time to get a deeper look at the university, including hearing about academic programs of interest and spending time with the staff, Webb decided to pull the trigger and committed to Urban Meyer over other favorites Michigan, Michigan State, and LSU.

Really wouldn't read too much into that.

If he doesn't go to Michigan he is likely headed to LSU. Don't think we have a great shot right now....

it really doesn't matter he's going to Michigan, no doubt in my mind.

Kid is playing the game to get visits for him and his teammates, only thing is he'll probably decide before his senior year. No different than the Glenville kids.

Scout$--Webb Seeing UM in Different Light

Damon says this was his best visit to Michigan and it helped their chances.

Should be an interesting recruitment. I think, for Michigan's case, they were helped by getting two of his teammates this past weekend.

This recruitment will be about as interesting as a Glenville prospect with an OSU offer.

I highly doubt his recruitment will be done anytime soon.

Recruiting is like a soap opera sometimes. :)
