Bingo. You didn't hear a peep out of Michigan fans this week re: player safety, even though Hoke played a one-legged Gardner, who was, due to his lack of mobility, getting crushed by PSU's blitz.

Well, here's the thing...it isn't all about winning games and/or the current financial situation. Where Brandon has fucked up most of all is jacking the prices up on tickets and alienating many alumni and the current student body. Along with numerous PR gaffes. The current student body HATES him, and that's your future donor/season ticket holder base. Whether or not he survives will depend on how many big money donors he can sway his way.

My personal favorite was hiring a skywriter to fly over Spartan Stadium. That prank ended up being an indictment on Michigan's class, intelligence, and maturity, all wrapped up into one. :lol:

He's backed into a corner and is now doing all he can to save his butt. He's agreed to lower student ticket pricing beginning next season. Of course, that probably means more price gouging to the general ticket buyer, but he doesn't care.

I know we're all worried about pizza man possibly leaving, but keep in mind we went from magnificent sob and noted sailor martin to brandon. Which allowed them to go from Llllllloyd to dick rod to fred flintstone as head coach. Who knows what kind of fuck up they'll make with their next hires.

Actually I think he's failing on that front. Continuing to back Hoke can only end in a double suicide.
If he was playing Gene Smith - level Survivor, he'd have already fired Hoke or at least started the coaching search in the background.

They could still get lucky somehow, blind squirrel finding an acorn. The status quo feels safer. I stand with David Brandon!
