This has been said many times before, but...
40 Yard Dash has little to actually do with football. Rarely does a player ever run 40 yards on the field. To me, a 10 yard dash would be a better tool to judge a player, since there is a higher chance that he will be going 10 yards, than 40 yards.
The real question I want an answer to is whether you can do the 10 yard dash from the counter to the slurpee machine and back faster than tibor. :tongue2:This has been said many times before, but...

all these buckeye fans and no one here mentions that a great buckeye invented the 40 yard dash for football and why.
the 40 yard dash for evaluating football players was created by coach paul brown of massillon, ohio state, browns and bengals fame.
paul picked the 40 with an eye towards guys covering kickoffs. nothing more nothing less.
excellent journalistic research in that article theorizing where the 40 came from instead of just fucking looking it up.
The most over-hyped measuring tool in sports,.... PERIOD.
