I've never been one to really care where any individual recruit goes to school. Ohio State will get their fair share, and in 2017 we're getting way more than our fair share.I wanted him to be a buckeye don't get me wrong, I just understand how important family mattered. I believe UCLA has sent players to the league before too and imagine he knows he will make it there no matter where he plays.
But if family matters so much, then the family should realize that this is a business decision, and right now (and for the foreseeable future) the best paths to the NFL go through Columbus and Tuscaloosa (followed closely by Clemson and Tallahassee). Westwood? Not so much.
