OK, in my usual role as BP iconoclast, let me be the first to say that this guy is a dick.

Did his daughter show lack of respect for her parents on Facebook? Yes. Did she behave like a little snot? Yes. Should she have been disciplined by her parents? Got-dam straight. Is it a fine idea for her father to post this slam on YouTube for the entire world to see? Fuck no.

I think I see where she got her lack of character - and he's sitting right there in his Adirondack chair.

Nope. He did that shit for round one. Didn't work. Sometimes the nuclear response has to be used. She deserved it. Posted a disrespectful, smart-assed rant on Facebook AND MADE SURE THOSE FOR WHOM IT WAS INTENDED WERE BLOCKED.

Fuck that. He should have put some hollow points in here ipod and phone too.

You obviously either: 1.) are not a father, or 2.) let your kids do what the fuck they want.

If I publicly disrespected my parents like that when I was a kid, I would've either got my ass physically beat or got thrown out of the house....if not both.

What he did was 100% justified. His daughter thought she was being coy and cute berating her dad on Facebook, now she has to deal with being berated by her dad through Facebook/Youtube. She is now getting a taste of her own medicine.

Remember, he did not do this the first time around and apparently she did not get the message. Maybe this time she will.

If you think it is lacking character to try and teach your children not to be assholes on the internet and that actions have consequences, then I guess there are plenty of us parents that lack character in your eyes.

Probably wouldn't be my response, but he definitely needed to take the dial to 11 the second time around. Maybe she'll get her shit together. Maybe she'll take the rebellion to 11 and become the school slut. Either way, it's a winning outcome.

Being an IT man I would think he would know the difference between a few people seeing a vid and something becoming a viral video. I'm glad to see someone actually stepping up and being a parent instead of a whine ass. I just have my doubts on what that video will actually fix.

This isn't 1970. School are not the same as they once were. The same parents that will see a video like this and high five each other might be the same one's attending their children's funeral. Kids will be kids,but i'd venture to guess the lack of discipline in the home is what got them there in the first place.
