What we "need" and "want" aren't always the same :)wadc45;2053955; said:Love both...but OSU needs quality OL to finish out the class.
OT, OT, DE, ATH, LB seems like a good way to round out the class, and skip the LB if the other DE actually wants in also.Frohlich;2053951; said:Jones and Spence would be on top of my wish list for this recruiting class.

Gilman's Jones named Md. Gatorade Player of the Year
December 01, 2011|By Katherine Dunn
Gilman?s Cyrus Jones has been named the Maryland Gatorade Football Player of the Year.
The senior, rated the No. 34 senior recruit in the country by ESPNU, was honored for his football achievements as well as his academic success and character, according to ESPN High School, which announced the 50 Players of the Year on Thursday morning.
Jones, a versatile 5-foot-11, 185-pound multi-threat player, excelled on both sides of the ball in leading the No. 1 Greyhounds to a 9-1 season and the first MIAA A Conference championship game victory, 34-32 over No. 2 Calvert Hall in double overtime. In that game, Jones scored all Gilman?s points in the two overtimes.
The fourth player from Gilman to be named Gatorade Player of the Year, Jones follows Darius Jennings, who won last year. He is a candidate for national Player of the Year, which will be announced this month.
?Cyrus Jones is one of the most dynamic prospects in this class when it comes to versatility," ESPN national recruiting director Tom Luginbill said in a news release. ?He can play just about any skill position on the field, and he has tremendous cover corner traits. He?s quick, can transition, has ball skills and is extremely competitive.?
Jones has not decided where he will play in college. Wednesday, he said he would reconsider Ohio State after the Buckeyes hired Urban Meyer as coach. He is also considering Alabama, Auburn, Maryland and Virginia Tech.
