"Maps" seems to be working for me now, although I was having trouble with it last night myself. You can also go to "Boxes," the third part, and there should be a link at the bottom of the story to go to Maps.

I heard the author expanded the story into a novel, and I've also heard there have been people that want to adapt it into a movie.

This time of year always reminds me of the time I was asked to play the flute for a little old lady's funeral back in college. It was a crisp fall day, not long after Halloween. After the service, I was walking home and stopped respectfully as the hearse passed, followed by the family's car... with an arm hanging out of the trunk.
