Coyotes in Ohio and Coast to Coast

I've started hearing the things howling in the woods at night. We're about 5 minutes from the outskirts of our town, 15 year old subdivision, so its understandable. It used to be we would let our dogs out at night to do their business, and then let them back in 20-30 minutes later. Now we have to stay out there and watch to be safe.
make sure the area is well lite. maybe by a spotlight. (high powered flashlight and use that if you hear/see something.) you can here yotes for a long way. if you hear them youre probably ok. if you dont well maybe they are on the prowl.

or just hire me and ill take em out. so fat this year, one seen, one shot, one kill 250 yards on the run. i will say though when i walked up to it, at about 50 yards i was thinking, this better not have a collar. this better not have a collar, they are pretty animals.

Coyotes: the #2 threat to America, just behind bears.

Remind me again why we are shooting these animals? God's little population control, IMO.

No natural predators left. The need for population control so somebody's kid doesn't get torn to pieces.

O Kaaaaaaay!!! Just received an automated recording from youngest Ubet's school on my cell. "A coyote was spotted prowling in the schoolyard today, the NOPD and SPCA were not able to locate it so it is at large somewhere in the neighborhood. If your child is a walker or bike rider, please call to let us know if you want to change the dismissal status and pick them up."

Lots of little ones at the school (we have a pre-K as well), and I bet it's stomach was growling as it watched the little 4 and 5 years old darlings hangin upside down on the jungle gyms. Freakin' 'yotes. I think I'm gonna walk my newest lab pup with my .380 tonight. That wus round can't go too far after it hits a 'yote. Now I have to go pick him up because his mother is freaked out. At 12 my youngest boy is too damn big to be yote food...but like they say, if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. :tongue2:
