It is excellent.....one weird thing though, the game will likely NOT be broadcast in HD.

For some reason the ABC game is High-Def, but the ESPN game isn't...thats the way its been all year in regards to the 3:30 regional games.

Every game I've seen on ESPN and ESPN2 this season has been in HD...

Correct....but when there is a regional switch for the 3:30 game, the ESPN coverage has not been braodcast HD.

I use Time Warner so maybe that is the issue...it's bizarre. ESPN HD comes in pitch black with no broadcast during the Saturday 3:30 games. I have to use the non-HD ESPN channel.

Same thing happend to me this weekend at home in Columbus. Doesn't make sense, but that's what happens here. It's a conspiracy.

I can almost 100% guarantee, I won't get it in HD.....I haven't all season. I'm in Charlotte, using Time Warner and I always get an ACC game on ABC.

The Big 10 goes to ESPN and it is blacked out on the high-def channel 285. It will be available on the non-high def channel.

My guess now, is that is a Time Warner or just in general a cable issue. It happens at my parents house in Hilton Head as well, and they use a different cable company.

Three posts above me, a guy has had similar problems.

As long as I get the game, I am happy though.

If you dont get it in HD then its definitely a time warner issue, because it clearly states on that 2nd map that the game will be on ESPN HD.
I would call them and complain on Saturday, they might just be asleep at the switch...

Anyone know why that little oasis in southwestern Florida is getting the midwestern broadcast?

DirecTV always has ESPN in HD, regardless if it's regional or not...
