A dyin' breed.
I've been playing for years, and after about a 6 month hiatus, I reinstalled, and it's still dope.

Anyone play?

Now, let's narrow it down...anyone on the west coast play? I hate playing in servers by myself, and was wondering if any of you guys/gals played. Thanks in advance!

I know a couple guys who used to compete for $$$. They literally never left their bedrooms

I used to be addicted to the game in college, had to kick the habit. Our college could support a 20 man game during most hours of the day. Steam really killed CS on campus, not only for those pirating it, but for those who did buy it, the config issues were awful.

We need a poll for who played it.

My roommate used to play that game for money as well. He was close to signing contracts for league teams. He still plays an awful lot though. He almost didn't go out with us to Ledo's tonight cause he wanted to "play a scrim." I was like "Tell your cs friends that you have a real life." It's a goddamn computer game. I just never understood how people could be drawn into that for hours on end. I'm pretty decent at it, but overall (like most modern video games) it just leaves me more frustrated than I was in the first place. What's the point of a game if it leaves your more stressed out than what you were before?

I still play, but I'm playing more DOD these days
Same here, I didn't like CS in the old days because you had to deal with your cash, purchase weapons and stuff like that. Then I got into DoD and loved it. I know there are a ton of WWII games out on the market now, but I'm happy with DoD and it doesn't cost me anything. I know they just released DoD Source, I may check that out.
