Cotton Bowl: Arkansas -6.5 vs Kansas St (ov/un 64.5) Fri 8 ET, Fox

Arkansas' Joe Adams just said this bowl win was important because last year "we didn't win", which seems odd since I've read/heard that tOSU has not beaten an SEC team in a bowl as recently as Tuesday. Apparently, players on BOTH teams know last year's Sugar Bowl took place.

It was easy to tell when I was able to do that - it was like a lunar eclipse over most of North America.

You give me way too much credit. But there may have been a couple nerds looking through this that saw it...

I really think Joe Adams is going to be in New York at the end of next year. If he continues his special teams dominance and gets more touches on offense he should be one of the 5 there.

Montee Ball is pretty much a shoe in for it also if he stays healthy.

Adams is done. No eligibility left.

I really like what I saw out of our defense tonight.

The secondary was their usual out-of-position/Willie Robinson-coached selves. but the front 7 played very solid, disciplined football. Little-to-none of that over-pursuing, gap-leaving, flying-to-the-ball, poor tackling crap that we were used to seeing.

If Paul Haynes can do that in just three weeks, and can then manage to get our secondary playing soundly, I am very encouraged for what the future holds.

Thanks for letting us have him Buckeyes!

Let me be the first to thank you for what Petrino did tonight against the Kitties of KSU.

I hold a special distain for anything Kansas State, as I was stationed in Riley for three years of my young life - during the mid 90's.

Thankfully, wild hogs eat just about anything, and tonight they dined on special teams and defense.:)

I think Matt Barkley has something to say about that.

I'm pretty sure that when you vacate a win although you no longer have a win in the game the opposing team still has a loss on their record. It's not a forfeit.
