Fuck, man. I was never much of a runner but I could if I had to, and even last year I kind of trained an out of whack knee into decent in the gym, then covid hits, then the kid needed to stay in soccer shape so I cobbled a 10k together between march and maybe mid june, then she went to focused conditioning and I went back on my bike... The idea of doing that again sounds like such bullshit.And we had cases of Girl Scout cookies in the house that couldn't be sold due to lock down and couldn't be donated because they expired before places were taking donations. I know they are expired, but they are still damn good.
My biggest problem is the duct tape that was holding my body together started to deteriorate over the past couple years so I can't workout as hard as I did 9 years ago when I lost a bunch of weight. In my 40's my shoulders and knees can't handle it. I'll probably have to go back to the office more in the next month or so, which should help a little.
