In typical government fashion, Ohio has limited the BMV to only being open three days a week in our county, Thurs Fri and Sat. I am sure with the good intentions of limiting "exposure" of the Covid-19. So I need to get two cars new plates. I go this morning at 8:30, half an hour before they open, and low and behold there are no parking spots and over 100 people standing shoulder to shoulder in line waiting on them to open. Morons. Open the damn doors six days a week, instead now they have created incredible lines and more exposure, not less. Typical government response. They never seem to grasp the unintended consequences.

I figure I probably got the Covid from trying to make some $$$ off of it, and I succeeded in both areas. Granted, the illness sucks, but I invested in Moderna and Novavax stock 2 months ago and the profits have been amazing. Also, bought Boxlight stock yesterday at 2.00 and to today it closed at 4.20. Not bad doubling your money in a day. Not a big investor by any stretch, but an extra $7K looks good in anybody's wallet.:nod:

Been to the DMV twice in IL since reopening. Both times I was in line by 6:15 AM and the best I've been was 31 in line. First time I'm sure there were 100 in front of me. That said, everyone was keeping distance.

I did just get a letter from the Dept of Revenue though. They apparently want to issue a late payment penalty for a car that I bought on March 14... and couldn't pay the taxes on. LOL. Fcuk IL.

Mayor McLean to Sign Public Health Order Mandating Face Masks

Today, due to a significant increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ada County, and with robust support from the health and business communities, I’ll be signing a public health emergency order, effective Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. (Friday night). It requires everyone to use face coverings in the City of Boise. Coverings that completely cover the nose and mouth are now required in all indoor and outdoor public places. There will be a few exceptions for children under the age of 5, on-duty first responders, or those with health or communication concerns.

Happy to report that today I received my test results from last Monday, and I'm now NEGATIVE!!!! You guys are the best. Can't tell you how much I appreciate the support and concern shared by so many of you. We may bitch and bicker with one another from time to time, but bottom line is we're all "Buckeye Brothers."
