Been feeling a little sluggish the past few days and my son has been coughing alot so we got tested yesterday. Got our results about an hour and a half ago. We are both Covid-19 Positive. Again, I just feel blah with a stuffy nose and my son has a sporadic cough. No fevers or breathing issues for either of us. Still have a wife and daughter to worry about so this journey has just begun for us. Sending out a HUGE "OH" to my Buckeye brothers. I guess I could use a a few "IO's" from you all.
Peace, and stay healthy.

You aren’t necessarily past it even if you are positiveI took the antibody test last week... and had mixed feelings... tested negative but part of me wanted positive to believe I was past it.
I hear this.. from other TV and social media sources... but I have an interesting vantage... son worked in Covid positive only ward for almost 3 months and zero were found positive after recovering or found positive before... I will say, he says exactly what you said... but I still am not aware of a case invalidating my assumptionYou aren’t necessarily past it even if you are positive
I’m going by what I hear directly from doctors at major hospitals treating the current patients.I hear this.. from other TV and social media sources... but I have an interesting vantage... son worked in Covid positive only ward for almost 3 months and zero were found positive after recovering or found positive before... Oh, the irony...The secondary infections and damage can be life long(organ damage) so anyone who has contracted Covid should not relax. Keep up your meds and stay hydrated and get rest.
Serious question, no snark as I’m quite interested in this line. Do you have knowledge of individuals who have contracted a second time? I think that we’ve discussed the issue of the antibodies disappearing over time which would suggest that it could happen... but God knows what’s really happening with this thing. I’ve not read of any cases of a second contraction for an individual. In fairness, I’ve also not looked very hard. Just wondering what you’re hearing.
First hand? No, HIPAA would prevent that of course. But secondhand from briefings? Yes. What I don’t know, since I can’t see any specific history, is whether those individuals fully recovered and then got sick again, or if they just waxed and waned and then waxed again, or if it acts like chicken pox and can lay dormant and flare up again like Shingles, or what. I’ve seen plenty of articles indicating all kinds of things, but there is of course nothing definitive out there as yet.Serious question, no snark as I’m quite interested in this line. Plenty of info out there about how long and whether immunity will last. CDC said they were “researching” second infections a month ago. No word yet from them, and lots of questions out there about it.if someone had tested positive for a second infection you wouldn’t have to search for news of it. fear mongering media and Toas would have uncontrollable raging boners over it that it would be slapped in your face. repeatedly.
