You're reading too much into articles I find and post here for informational purposes. There is much we don't know about Covid and are learning on a multi-monthly basis that will effect some far past the "normal" 2 weeks of infection.

And as far as the "No New Cases from Parties" headline. The number of cases in my country went from 24 total to 31 the week after Memorial Day parties. We had been averaging 1 case identified a week before Memorial Day. Statistically that's a big jump. Other places may have different results. I expect the Fourth of July will bring another statistical case temporary jump. Young people are ignoring the pandemic in the southwest.

One of the most common COVID-19 tests involves a long swab pressed deep into the nasal cavities – and while the test can be administered quickly, it has been described as unpleasant and uncomfortable.

Now researchers at The Ohio State University are working on a testing system that would require a simple exhaled breath. Perena Gouma is the primary investigator of a team developing a breathalyzer device that will sample breath for key biomarkers of the infection. She says it would serve as an alternative to current tests that are expensive, can take a long time to get results and require specialized personnel to do the sampling and to analyze the results.

ST. LOUIS — The large crowds of people at the Lake of the Ozarks over Memorial Day weekend have not led to any more reported cases of COVID-19, Missouri’s top health official health department said Wednesday.

“The answer, to our knowledge, is no,” Dr. Randall Williams, director of the Department of Health and Senior Services, said when asked whether more cases have come from the gatherings, photos of which showed throngs of people close together without wearing masks.

Williams answered questions during a daily news briefing in Jefferson City hosted by Missouri Gov. Mike Parson to address civil unrest and efforts to contain the coronavirus.

Pictures and videos of the lake crowds had prompted concern among the public and health officials.

Some good news imo

Must have been the sun?

Lacrosse club practices starting on Monday. 4-days a week. Everyone is supposed to be taking temps prior to practice and we have protocols for distancing and handling kids who may seem like they are falling ill. All tourneys thus far are in Indy because they are open for that.

Glad some parts of my life are starting to come back to some sort of normal. Even though we’re not doing contact right now, it’s better than nothing. I’ll let y’all know if I die.

Those who post from the other side have the $77 membership fee waived, so you'd have that going for you.

You misinterpret my meaning. I have known this woman and her family for most of my life and they have said they are Swedish. Most people knowing them accept that. Obviously, you have zero knowledge of this family.
You could post her picture, and then all of us "assholes" could express our "opinion" of her Swedishness.

But it's a free world, you don't have to if you don't want to.
