First off, he's not threatening THE Jewish community. He's threatening a radical minority subset of the Jewish community, one which has been condemned by mainstream Jewish organizations for their actions during the pandemic. It's no different than a Governor or Mayor trying to reign in some faith healer packing people into his church is not an indictment of the vast majority of Christian churches that have acted responsibly.

Where in that tweet did he mention a radical minority subset?

I'd like to remind all that the 1918 pandemic came back after a break. I expect that to happen. Don't let your guard down. Social distance and wear a mask when out and wash your hands religiously. Be safe. Stay alert.

“There were no social distancing or quarantine or closure orders during that first wave. It was the second wave, that began in late August, that most people think of when they think of the pandemic, and it is this wave which first causes the public health efforts.”

“The spring wave was intermittent,” said John M. Barry, public health professor at Tulane University. “The fall wave was everywhere in the world. Everywhere.”

Fair attempt at “Spicer-ing” by ORD. :biggrin2:

Everyone familiar with the situation knows that he's addressing the ultra-Orthodox community who have consistently ignored social distancing, not Jews as a whole. He either made a huge mistake in not specifying it or couldn't fit "ultra-Orthodox" within the twitter space limits. Either way, he's an idiot for attempting to announce public policy via twitter.

For only about the 8 millionth fucking time.

I expect that to happen.
I'm sure that people who actually care what you expect will agree.

You must have found BP's super-secret daily-auto-post function.
