damn, heisman, did you even read the article you posted? it goes on and on lambasting the united states' healthcare system, especially in comparison to the wealthy countries with socialized medicine.

it's almost as if you're completely clueless about the millions and millions who work while being uninsured or under-insured.
speaking of neil peart:Well, it’s either Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, or Neil Peart. Duh!!!
Peart outgrew his Ayn Rand phase years ago, and now describes himself as a “bleeding-heart libertarian,” citing his trips to Africa as transformative. He claims to stand by the message of “The Trees,” but other than that, his bleeding-heart side seems dominant. Peart just became a U.S. citizen, and he is unlikely to vote for Rand Paul, or any Republican. Peart says that it’s “very obvious” that Paul “hates women and brown people” — and Rush sent a cease-and-desist order to get Paul to stop quoting “The Trees” in his speeches.
“For a person of my sensibility, you’re only left with the Democratic party,” says Peart, who also calls George W. Bush “an instrument of evil.” “If you’re a compassionate person at all. The whole health-care thing — denying mercy to suffering people? What? This is Christian?”
i'll take "pointless anecdotal stories that are hardly representative beyond my small sphere" for 800, alex.We offer our 220 employees elite health care coverage for around $60 per month. Care to guess how many choose to opt out?? We offer employees a matching 401k up to 6%. Care to guess how many opt out? Most people are only victims of their own terrible choices.
Pretty sure I don't have a 'King Lear' in me, plus I have kids.
The bottom 20% get Medicaid or Medicare. It’s the middle class that gets screwed. They pay for the lower 20%’s healthcare plus their own healthcare! Can’t we improve the healthcare of the bottom 20% without cratering the health care of the other 80%.
