Does everyone have a mask now? I'm just checking availability by region. I finally got a box from China of 50. Using one per week gets me into next year.

I’ve made six trips on I77 from Charlotte to Tuscarawas county since the end of February. On the second or third week of March I could have driven at whatever speed I wanted. Lack of trucks, lack of cars and lack of enforcement. I didn’t hit 100 mph, much less average it, but I was doing over 90 mph through the West Virginia slaloms.I told my wife that it was the perfect time to set a new record for the Cannonball. Not surprised to see that time.
What no Clorox? WTF kind of doctor is that?I went to my lung doctor yesterday. She said you can reuse masks if you put them in a paper bag for four days since the virus can only live for 3 days under that condition.
She also said that the type of tests given out by Rite Aids etc are too vague and will test positive even for Covid which simply a common cold.
Never admit to breaking the law on the internet! The internet never forgets! When I brought my S6 home from Memphis a couple of months ago I had a long runway on-ramp after a pit stop. A truck pulled over to the left lane to give me the lane. I got on it so as to clear the lane quickly. Suffice it to say, the butt dyno told me I was going pretty fast... when I looked down at my speedometer I started giggling. I could have gone on for miles at that speed, but I backed it down to a more reasonable speed. As far as how fast I was going when I looked down, I’m choosing to exercise my 5th amendment rights.![]()
Glad you had a fun and safe drive.
It's still in short supply. It will take months to build up sufficient stock to have any impact. Your best bet is social distancing and wearing a mask. Wash your hands and don't touch your face when possible. Stay safe.I really wish there was more [positive] discussion/news on treatments and not so much just a full vaccine. No doubt a well-tested and mass-produced vaccine is a long way off but if there are at least treatments that help recovery, we can feel normal again.
Interested in more news on Remdesivir (?) as shipments went out to all 50 states this week. I know Indiana received a bunch and is expanding that treatment practice in hospitals. Fingers crossed it’s good news.

It's sad that you can only use all that power right now. I had a Mini basic model, no turbo. It was fun because you had to wring it's neck to go very fast! Now I have a Subaru and have to wring it's neck just to get up a hill! "lol"For sure. I’ve seen examples of where a pic of a speedometer in combination with exif data was sufficient to issue a moving violation. There’s no chance in hell I publish specifics regarding any laws I may or may not have broken in my life... or at least those that are still within the statute of limitations.
That said, I am looking forward to some of this blowing over so that I can get the stage 1 completed and burn through the stock summer tires on a track this summer. With 600 HP at the wheels, ain’t no way I put that car on the road in Chicago winter without at least all-season sports.
Even Fauci has backed off of his initial “game-changer” characterization of remdesivir unfortunately by stating the effects were more moderate than they had first hoped. Still, if it can keep someone off a vent, or even get someone home a day or two early, it is well worth treating the sicker patients with it. Truth is until we know more specifics about the epidemiology and population dynamics, we won’t know how widespread effective it will be. Only way to know that will be to track its use and progress. There is no indication that it seems to hurt or make it worse that I’ve read, so hopefully giving it to people will be a new positive for the most part.I really wish there was more [positive] discussion/news on treatments and not so much just a full vaccine.
