Yeah, people keep acting like this is over and it's time to wait for the 2nd spike. No, we never dropped cases, we simply plateaued and acted like things were good to go.

New York is one of few places that has peaked and declined. Everywhere else is still struggling to significantly cut cases and we're already talking about opening back up. If anything, the cases will start to go back up towards 40k and plateau again. I'm not sure US will ever have another huge spike because of this, just some longterm misery.

Saltwater, I know what to look for. so even in an area I've never fished, I can usually spot something that "looks" right.
I also know what they like and how to fish them according to weather, time of year, etc.

1) buy tubes and 60° jigheads.
2) rig them "stupid" style.
3) match the hatch.
4) throw them into drop-offs and cover.

Seriously. I've spent 20 vacations fishing the same couple lakes in Canada. I've dropped who knows how many thousands of dollars on every size, shape, and color lures known to mankind. Once i learned the art of stupid tubes, it was game over. The last couple years I just carried a couple bags of tubes in a cargo pocket and called it a day. They are the greatest bait ever invented.
