Except Milililis point could also be construed as the posts being moved back.... And I read it as such and actually disagree the his approach to the issue... At least mostly...

Taos on other hand has consistently danced on the graves of the dead to dunk on Trump.

Over. And over.

So, i want to understand what body count he is happy with
Well by that logic, him wanting to know the same of the people who shrug deaths off seems pretty reasonable. Is Mili a fucking coward for not answering? His response was pretty dismissive of 40,000 human lives. But I try to leave Poli shit in the Poli thread.....so maybe I'm just looking at it wrong.

Well, ask mili all the questions you want. Its not the same logic, though.

I don't agree at all with milis conclusion on the numbers and what that says about how to go forward... And i understand that no one can predict the future. Not the guys that said we should have a million dead Americans by now... Or 2 million. Nor can we predict how well we can effectively distance and mitigate those big numbers... And i hope we end up much less than the predictions.

But there's a difference between dismissing predictions and rooting for body counts.

Dude just posted the number of deaths...Mili's the one who brushed them off like they were nothing. Seems reasonable to ask at what point they move past nothing. At first this was just a common cold. Then the flu was supposed to be the big bad wolf. Now it has surpassed the flu, and the goal posts are still being moved. Doesn't seem stupid to wonder when they'll stop moving.
I didn't "brush them off like they were nothing" and Taos didn't "just post the number of deaths". Taos has his point to make (he's the only one "keeping score" on the amount of deaths), which is fine seeing as this is a discussion board and all. I also have a point, and that is the fact that the amount of deaths so far is nowhere near the amount that was initially projected, which is a good thing. Anyone dying "before their time" is sad.

Now this has gone too far! Where did all the frozen pizzas go? Did people realize they needed something to eat while hiding in their toilet paper castles?
Decided to take my life in my own hands and ventured out to WallyWorld yesterday. ( Pretty much the only option for groceries where I live) The whole frozen food section was pretty much wiped out. It's gonna get ugly if I have to start fighting a group of Karens over a bag of french fries!

In my life I have experienced both being out of work for an extended period and the death of a loved one. Being out of work for an extended period is depressing and frustrating. It's an "inconvenience" But it doesn't have the lasting, painful hurt of losing a loved one before their time. You don't wake up in the middle of the night crying from losing a job or being out of work. When a loved one dies you question everything and are deeply hurt at life. You learn the true value of things. Life has the greatest value. I value life above everything.

Many do, but more importantly it may lead to severe collateral damage. Fear, anger, hopelessness, and depression, to name a few, are not emotions to be taken lightly. Substance abuse, domestic violence, and suicide have all been shown to follow many life altering events including job loss, divorce, and yes, the death of a loved one. I'm not minimizing your thoughts on death, btw. Death, however, has a certain closure to it and a subsequent mourning period. Prolonged job loss can sometimes leave a person asking, "will this pain ever end?"

I value life above everything.
Do you believe in assisted suicide, pro choice, the death penalty? Because if you do, then.....????? Can't have it both ways, you either value it above everything else, or you don't.

As far as "dancing on the graves to dunk on Trump". If we're going to quote flu numbers as a way of keeping score. We need to be reminded of the fact(using numbers) we are losing. This isn't the flu. This unseen team will keep outscoring us if we don't play as a team. We have an incompetent head coach but some of the assistants have stepped up. Thank God for them as they have made a difference. But this will be a tougher fight than many think because of a lack of leadership and team play.
