Ordered some tech from Best Buy this morning for Easter gifts for my kids. One hour, no-contact, curbside pickup. I got exactly what I needed and didn't get harassed by three blue shirts to do it. Best Best Buy trip ever.

There are some practices we need to keep after this pandemic.

Bought my wife an iPhone 11 today; she has an iPhone 6 that basically can’t hold a battery charge for longer than an hour talk time anymore.

AT&T also has curbside pickup. Let me just say that their customer service still sucks just as much now as it did pre-pandemic, if not even more. Nobody even came out to the curb when I pulled up until I called the store, and the guy I was talking to I was looking directly at through the doors.

Took 25 minutes to pickup a phone that was prepaid online and I am going to swap SIMs and self activate. Literally should have taken 2 minutes to verify my ID, scan the phone box, and hand it to me.

They were hoping you'd remember your sudden need to pick up a wireless charger, $250 pair of Bluetooth headphones, an $80 case, and add on an iPad with tablet data plan to your regular bill while they made you wait an extra 20 minutes.

I took your original tip on Best Buy and picked up an iPad case to help with Zoom/video parties with friends. Quick, easy, never wanna go inside a Best Buy again.

Well, that said... I am getting kinda used to the, ‘no, you bring it to me in my car’ thing from almost everyone. I kinda dig it.

I believe that tx is county by county. That said, it only takes shutting down a couple of counties and you’ve effectively SIP’d the entire state.
Haven’t had my coffee yet so now sure what you mean by SIP’d.... while “shutting down” a few of the major counties would effectively limit the spread there are still metric shittons of stupid people who will ignore the order in those counties...

remember this is Tejas we are our own country
