The irony that gun stores are essential in Illinois and not Texas. Hahaha!!

This is interesting because it suggests that not everybody has already had it (if they had discrete populations wouldn't have such different hospitalization rates) and perhaps provides a rough baseline (different geographies will of course differ) for the extent to which social distancing helps reduce the spread of the disease.

My neighbor said she had it in Vegas in January. I'm trying to figure out how to get some of her blood for a vaccine. But she's still pissed since she found out I set her house on fire, because of the virus. Hell I even told her I forgave her!

I’ll sell you a vile of my blood. Comes at a pretty hefty price tho.

If an injection from someone who has recovered is all that this would take to fix the problem... I would be willing to give it away for free tho.

Glad someone is at least getting a lawsuit on the docket for when this bullshit clears.

State and local officials should have some 'splaining to regarding Sandusky like treatment of the Bill of Rights during this time.

That pattern, observed here as well, is as compelling of an anecdote for it not being widely spread as anything I’ve seen.

The varying degree of what individual governors consider essential is comical. I suppose if we just follow the money...

Right?

RI-house to house searches for New Yorkers. If you don't self quarantine she'll throw you in jail.
Philly mayor has the police tweet out a list of crimes they won't be enforcing during the pandemic to reduce jail numbers (one of which is car theft)
Chicago says fuck it lets party, gun stores and liquor stores are open but if we catch you walking too far from your house you could go to jail
LA Sheriff is releasing prisoners to reduce COVID spread in jail

I'm no lawyer but, depending on where you are in the nation state formerly known as "America", the I, II, IV, VI and all of the voting amendments have been fucked more times than Savahanna doing a gang bang video.

Or just follow the culture of the people of the area. Denver's Mayor tried to make Denver's weed shops and liquor stores nonessential: He amended the order to reverse that within two hours because the people wouldn't stand for it. Stuff like that is why I'm a lot less concerned about the U.S. becoming Nazi Germany overnight due to what some governors do in the midst of this pandemic than some others are.
