So the wife and I were hanging out tonight about 7pm when there's a knock at the door. I answer the door and there's 2 cops standing there and ask to talk to my wife. Confused, I call my wife to the front door and tell her it's the police.

Our 6 year old daughter had just left with her grandma about 2 hours earlier and so my wife freaks out assuming they had gotten in a car accident and thinking the worst.

So why were the cops at our front door? Well, they were at our door because some crazy bitch on E-Bay didn't get her package from my wife and called the cops and said we were commiting internet fraud! It was a $50 package that my wife sent on 10/5 and apparently the lady hasn't received the package yet.

The wife had to find her receipt from the UPS store and show it to the cops. I guess the UPS store offers USPS services and so my wife ended up sending it the cheapest method and didn't get a tracking #.

I guess my point is, I didn't realize cops would show up at your door if someone accused you of internet fraud. Especially $50 internet fraud.

FYI my wife has been selling stuff for 6 years on E-bay and has 100% feedback so for this lady to assume my wife was ripping her off is pretty crazy.
 
My mother was reported for promoting porn on E-bay back when it was a fairly new service. Sure, it looked like she had sweet, innocent collectible dolls up for sale, but everyone knows what that "Hotmail" address really means.

That was just the E-bay virtual mall cops, though.

The funny thing is she did contact my wife and my wife told her she sent it and told her the date she sent it. She told her the method she sent it and it would take 7-9 business days. Tomorrow would be the 9th business day.

Normally people who buy stuff on E-Bay pay through Pay-Pal and then when my wife sends out her packages, she gets tracking #'s through the USPS site that is attached to Pay-Pal and E-Bay and everyone has the tracking information.

Well, this lady wanted to pay by money order and my wife let her. So my wife had to give her our address so she could send the money order before my wife would ship. This was the first time my wife had allowed it and obviously the last time. I'm guessing that's how she got our address to send the cops over.

Some crazy bitch in New Jersey. I just can't even imagine calling the cops over $50 no matter what the reason. I mean the city had to pay for 2 cops to come to my house and a third cop was on the phone with them giving them information. So 2 cops were taken off the street and one in the department was helping them for this crazy bitch and $50. She should have atleast waited the full 9 business days to see if the package comes before obviously flipping out. She'll probably get it tomorrow - hahaha

I honestly feel like she should have to pay the city of Chandler like $200 for wasting the cops time.

She should also send me an apology letter because I had the wife to myself tonight since the 6 year old was at grandma's and I got nothing to show for it!:pissed:

Couple of options here.

A. Tell her to take it out on you... hint hint..wink wink...
or
B. Ask one of the cops if you could borrow a uniform and handcuffs for the night for some role playing.
