....just havent seen him make any good throws yet. Boeckman I have. Pryor is still unproven. He has thrown TD's but they are floaty balls and not particularly tough for a QB with talent. I have yet to see anything thats been tough that he has had to do throwing. Saw him miss a few wide open guys though.

you apparently missed the 15 yard slant to Posey between two defenders that was thrown on a line. Or the 3rd and 13 throw to Robo to convert a first down.

The fact is, we didn't throw the ball that much because we could run the ball at will. TP has a lot of improvement to do but when you can run for 11 yards a pop, why risk a throw.

First. It was a xxxxxxxxx post.
Second. Minny is much better than last year.
Third. Anyone calling Beanie "slow" is clueless.
Fourth. TP is not a great passer. Yet. But, he is very effective and you have to look at the whole "package" he brings and how it changes everything.
And finally. The defense is coming along every week. Improving. Creating turnovers.

Beanie looked ok but I thought Herron was the better RB today. The big run to the goal line had a burst that Beanie doesnt have back yet.

Wow, you must have pretty high standards if you thought Beanie's 7.6 ypc was just "ok." If the coaching staff would have let him, Beanie could have easily run for 200+ yards on Saturday.

If stpaulgoph was being condescending, I suppose tOSU fans would be the first to recognize that...after all, tOSU fans are notorious for the woulda, coulda, shoulda explanations and "If only" excuses.

Hell, I give him props immediately for staying true to his team after so many average to thin years.

Stick around stpaul...I've enjoyed reading your insight

I didn't take it as condescening but rather a rational outsider's view (which any message board can use a little bit of). If you really want to get an idea of condescening posts, read replies to your posts from mods...

Tao and Daveyboy surprised me. I thought it was a pretty even handed response from someone who admits to loving his own team. Throw in some trash talk about Michigan and Wisconsin, and hey, I'll buy him a beer at next year's Hineygate.

I thought Minnie's front four on defense played better than their Buckeye opposites. They really fired off the line, but Pryor had the speed, strength and timing to make them pay for it.

Speaking of QBs, Adam Weber played a fine game. Imagine where MSU or Wisconsin would be if they had a QB in the same class.

And when someone starts out with a thread saying congratulations and continues by NOT running up a list of excuses and finishes by pledging his moral support against the Prince of Darkness Institute of Lower Michigan, I think you ought to be gracious right back, say thanks, and leave concerns of condecension unspoken until proven.

Nice post stpaul!

Agreed on both the phantom facemask and the sloooow whistle.

[Fouts]Bad call!!!!![/Fouts]

Hope you can stick around for awhile!

OSU cleared the bench in the 4th quarter....not just played its 2nd stringers. Minnie played its starters the entire game. So please don't try to say both teams equally reached to the benches.

I recall seeing numerous defensive starters on the field for the two late touchdowns.

Not to mention the countless times he mentioned he felt like he was running with combat boots on. I noticed he needed help getting up after every play. At first I thought it was because they didn't want to risk re-injuring that toe by getting up, but after his comment, I realized he wasn't able to move his foot the way he needed to be able to get up easily.
