CONFIRMED: PSU football players in trouble

Ah that's right. Yeah, I think he just pissed off the wrong people. Staters use that as "proof" that JoePa is a tough disciplinarian.....but that's horse shit.

I think student affairs punishes the PSU kids these days not JoePa they recommended the punishment for Connor, and they'll do the same in this case.

Another interesting quote from the article:

"We are looking at whoever went into that apartment," Sloane said. "That's our primary focus, whoever went into that apartment. We're trying to figure out who hurt these kids. We're trying to be very careful to find those responsible and not just recklessly charge everyone who was there."

Translation: Let's filter out all the starters and let them go...

It's going to get covered up. I tried to find out info on the Pennlive forum but that forum is a joke. It's must be a bunch of high school students. I really don't think they even know anything about football.
On a Penn State board? You're kidding? :p

If these charges come to fruition, do you think JoePa will handle them like he should(or has in the past), or will the punishment be a little lighter since this might be the last chance he'll have at a great season(unless he stays until 2009)?

How would we want it handled?

If Ohio State were in the same situation it would look a little like this:
A. Russell or Jam O
Malcolm Jenkins
Brian Robiskie
Dexter Larimore
Ross Homan
Donald Washington

Man. That would suck!!

I'm amazed at the cynicism on this board. If those are the guys, I'm sure they'll be punished by Paterno. He will really miss having them on the field in their opener against Florida International. There's a small chance they'll be back for ND in the second game, though. But if there's enough public outrage at 1 game no being enough punishment, they might have to miss game 3 against Buffalo. :wink2:

I expect Baker, and Scirrotto to be gone. I expect the other four to miss a game or two.
