Can't stand Leno. Conan is very good, better the less he uses his writers. Jimmy Fallon is so bad that if I can't find the remote right away when his show starts I scream to cover the sound.

I could improvise a monologue better than any of Jimmy Fallon's. It's pathetic. I don't know how someone in the comedy business can be that unfunny.

And Carson Daly was mentioned on Conan tonight. Is Carson Daly still even on? :lol:

Letterman had some good Carson Daly jokes. Here's a link from the article jwins posted with other host's takes. This is the most entertaining they've been in a long time.

Fallon's only redeeming quality is that he helps people find Craig Ferguson, who really is a tremendously funny guy.

Who knew Kimmel had it in him? The only person who didn't become funnier as a result of this whole debacle is Jay Leno. Figures. It would take a miracle to help him out. And I thought Cleto was spot on impersonating Kevin Eubanks. Right down to repeating the lame punchlines as if we didn't hear it the first time.

Enjoy it while it lasts, sounds like Conan is working on getting out of there ASAP.

I don't think Leno is going to make the recovery. They say that Conan's ratings were good because he had Leno as a lead in, which may be true, but I have a feeling that a lot of Conan's fans were watching Leno just because he was before Conan. Now that Leno and NBC have bent Conan over those fans will be w/ Letterman every night. Time will tell.

Since NBC is allowed to move Conan to 12:05 under his contract I wonder how him refusing the move will play out. How long would he have to wait to move to another network? I would be interested to see what the ratings would look like if Leno, Letterman, and Conan went head to head at 11:30. I don't have a vested interest in any of them since I'm sleeping by that time, but I don't think Conan's following is a strong as they would like to think they are. He might have the most vocal fans, but he wouldn't have lost 40% of Leno's audience if people liked him as much. I am guessing the ratings for all of the late shows will be very high until this is put to bed.
