Commercials that irritate/make you wanna..

I don't think there is one commercial out there I enjoy currently. Not ONE.

Just absolutely pitiful advertising at the moment.

And now we're in the stupid jewelry and car holiday commercial time. FML.
I've already sworn to everyone who will listen that I will never be going to Jared...or Kay...or Zales because their commercials are God awful. I'm also, at this point, grossly annoyed by the AT&T 4G LTE commercials...apparently if you get AT&T you too can be an annoying, know it all douchebag.

Those stupid Lexus commercials that use their highly obscure theme song as the clue to the gift.

Yep, done with those things but they'll keep coming.

After all, thousands of potential shoppers watching ESPN are running out to buy a fucking Lexus as a Xmas present.

The Honda commercials with the kids that sing "Crazy Train" in the back seat.

I want to give every one of those obnoxious little bastards an atomic wedgie, or just throw them from the moving automobile.

Given the cost of commercial airtime, and how frequently those ads run, it's hard to imagine they actually sell enough at Christmas (even charging extra for the ginormous red bow) to break even.

I think maybe they just do it to make the rest of us feel bad. :(

Target 'Chorus' - YouTube

Black friday target commercial - YouTube

That's Maria Bamford. She's actually kinda funny in her day job. She's had a few Comedy Central specials and was in the Comedians of Comedy series/film with Patton Oswalt and Zach Galifiankis.

I view those Target commercials as satire.

On the other hand, if you want a commercial that's REALLY annoying...

Speaking of annoying commercials about hard spirits, I'm sure glad they don't play this anymore:

Hey, our tequila sucks, so let's come up with some silly-assed gimmick to make up for it...

The antithesis of this thread is "Protected from mayhem like me"

Possibly the greatest ad campaign of all time, and I'm still not tired of the older repeats.
Great campaign. Now, the premise of it is fraud, as those "cut rate" companies will all still pay for car wrecks and collision if you obtain the coverage - the notion that only Allstate will pay a claim where you suddenly turn and ram into other cars is ridiculously misleading.

Allstate it the least likely to pay your claim. They never pay claims fairly, and you are more likely to wind up in court. I see trials where the Allstate driver admits they were in the wrong, the damages sought are not inflated, but the insured is there the day of trial bewildered as to why they are in court. They are there because Allstate wants to low ball all claims. Great idea on frivolous ones - make them prove it. Bad idea on valid claims. Judges hate Allstate wasting their time on good claims just because it is their corporate strategy.

I remember one time when your mom and I were having sex and this ad came on. Great campaign for Jello.
