I just watched the original last week for the first time. I'll wait for the sequel to make it to DVD. Now that I have the 50" plasma in the basement A movie has to be really special for me to go see it in the theater. The past 4 movies that I've paid to go to the theater to see are Star Trek, The Dark Knight, Avatar, and Inception.

Mel Gibson To Attempt Comeback in 'The Hangover 2'

Mike Tyson's cameo in "The Hangover" was so funny and bizarre that you could almost forget that he served three years in federal prison. (Almost.) The next recipient of "The Hangover" Image Rehabilitation Act is, perhaps inevitably, Mel Gibson.

Page Six reported this morning that Gibson will cameo on "The Hangover 2" as a tattoo artist. (MTV News confirmed it this afternoon.) It will likely be Gibson's first onscreen role since his infamous scandal involving his terrifying and graphically violent audiotaped rants against his ex-wife back in July. (His starring role in the Jodie Foster-directed "The Beaver," about a mentally disturbed man who communicates with the world solely through a hand puppet, was indefinitely shelved in the wake of the leaked tapes.)
